The following businesses in our area have reported changes to their day-to-day operations during the COVID-19 Crisis. As always, follow the North Carolina, Cherokee County, and Town of Andrews guidelines when venturing out into public. This list is in alphabetical order.
We are open for carry-out only. Wine by the bottle and case. Beer by the growler and keg. We are working on getting government label approval to sell beer by the can.
We can also ship wine to most states.

Your local food bank plans to continue our regular days and hours, Tuesday & Saturday from 10:00 to noon. Clients are not permitted inside the building at this time but we will be providing sidewalk service for your safety and convenience.
We will remained closed until the Federal Government releases us to resume normal activities. May God be with us all during this trying time!
Elaines Care has suspended new admissions for out of state residents. We will only be admitting local town residents.
We are only selling bottles of wine to go for off site consumption. We are open Thursday March 26th from 3:30 to 6:30p. Starting April 2nd, we open for the season Thursdays and Fridays 12:30p to 6:30p and Saturdays and Sundays 12:30p to 5:30p. Other times by appointment.
All offices for Four Square Community Action are closed to the public. Staff are still working by telephone and email. Please call 828-321-4475 and listen to the phone menu to contact the appropriate person for information about services.
We have closed the NCWorks Career Center to the public effective this morning. We have provided basic guidance on Facebook regarding filing for Unemployment Benefits (see attached). We will still be working in the office and can be reached at 828-837-7407 for assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving everyone in our office again in the future.
During the Covid 19 emergency we are currently offering commercial carpet cleaning only. Churches, offices and restaurants. As soon as restrictions lift, we will resume residential carpet cleaning.
If you know of any elderly that are in need, please have someone contact us and we will try to do what we can to help them. We are also shutting down our Thrift Store until further notice, starting on 3/21. We will still have our processing center open for all donations Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Our shelter will remain open for any victim of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We are here to help. If anyone has any questions they can call us at
